Product Design and Prototyping
Development and design of steel molds.
Injection of the final product.
Our main transformation process is thermoplastic injection moulding. This process consists of a production cycle composed of several stages:
mould closure
injection of the plastic melt into the mould with an spindle or injection piston
period during which the spindle continues to apply pressure on the mould in order to compensate for melt contraction
spindle retracts with a rotational movement, melting the material for the next injection
cooling until the mould can be extracted without being deformed
mould opening
moulding is extracted (usually by using extractors)
break between extraction and mould closure
Our machine park consists of 10 horizontal injection machines that have between 100 and 755 tons of closing force:
- Hydraulic Drive;
- Electric Drive;
- Hydraulic and electric (hybrid).
We have the capacity to produce plastic parts using the most diverse thermoplastics (PP, ABS, PC, PA, PVC, TPU, LDPE, PS, among others) up to a maximum weight of 2500 grams
